SPOA Launches 2023 Webinar Series with "The Pitfalls of Rent Control"

The Small Property Owners Association (SPOA) launched its 2023 webinar series about housing policy and property rights on June 8. 

SPOA Vice President, Amir Shahsavari, moderated the presentation with a distinguished group of panelists, including CEO Greg Vasil and Chairwoman Kate Franco of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), in addition to President Allison Drescher of SPOA and CEO Demetrios Salpoglou of Boston Pads. Topics included the perils of rent control and other proposed policies that endanger businesses and communities, both in Boston and throughout Massachusetts. Also mentioned were various ideas for innovative and sensible housing solutions.
