SPOA Testifies at Housing Bond Bill Hearing
The Small Property Owners Association (SPOA) provided testimony at a state house hearing about the governor's housing bond bill on January 18, 2024. State Rep. David DeCoste sponsored a panel that included SPOA President Allison Drescher and Vice President Amir Shahsavari, in addition to SPOA member Ralph Jaeger.
The panel advocated for the interests of property owners and their tenants, while emphasizing the importance of including property owners at the table in creating solutions to the housing dilemma in Massachusetts. The panel also discussed aspects of the bill that it supported, along with aspects that could be improved.
