State Sanitary Code Changes Taking Effect on April 1

As of April 1, 2023, there will be changes implemented to the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. These changes are outlined in the article attached below from the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Please feel free to reach out to SPOA if you have any concerns, or if you experience any challenges with these changes.

Note: The maximum temperature range for hot water in bathtubs and showers is presently 112 degrees, rather than the 120 degrees mentioned in the attached article. Please consult with a professional to ensure that 120 degrees is both safe and accurate before making any changes.
